The NYT continues with its teacher-bashing garbage writing about evaluations of teachers, something "journalists" know absolutely nothing about.

Usually principals are allowed to do whatever the hell they want in their schools and have ironclad job security. But in a notable Arlington, Virginia, case earlier this year, a middle school principal quit her longstanding job because the superintendent wouldn't allow her to dismiss an employee she saw as incompetent and a danger to students.

It appears the person she wanted to get rid of was moved to another school rather than dismissed. Though the principal doesn't say it, ten cents says the individual in question had some kind of political connection with the district and/or board. The superintendent thereafter harassed the principal and ultimately she received an unsatisfactory evaluation.

It doesn't happen often.

Knowing the Zephyr Cove area, I suspect the Latino families work in the nearby hotels and casinos at Stateline or South Lake Tahoe.

If people are going to bitch about people not speaking English, complain to the casinos and other businesses that hire them.
