Yes, it is bad enough employers are more and more screening applicants out in order to hire only those who are currently employed or recently employed, but I would argue it is the QUALITY of current openings that's really frustrating.
There are lots and lots of shitty sales jobs or jobs that appear to be phonies, and not a lot of decent jobs paying a decent salary.
The idea that the jobless don't have "skills" is simply a bunch of shit employers peddle. The fact is it is an employers' market, and anything they can do to screen out the flood of applicants is acceptable.
