by implementing a color-coded ID system indicating which students "deserved" special privileges for scoring high on standardized tests should be fired and publicly humiliated. Then they would understand what it is like to be a student who does poorly on tests, tests which measure nothing since they are easily gamed, and then are branded with some kind of modern day scarlet letter.
Nevertheless, a few students and parents liked the policy, which was nothing but a lawsuit waiting to happen. Confidentiality and all of that.
