Good God. What an asshole to propose still another YEAR before a teacher can be "tenured." Why not just abolish it and be done with it?
That is what this is. Let's quit pussyfooting around. Four goddamned fucking years before a teacher can get an automatic renewal and their careers dependent on an idiot principal for this?
Guess what, asshole? School districts will string along new teachers, and then, just when they are just about set to get vesting in their pensions, they get fired or "nonrenewed," as the sanitized term is called. These poor teachers will find it difficult if not impossible ever to teach again, and certainly not in their states.
NJ teachers need the Teamsters instead of NEA affiliates.
