isn't good works or having a happy family or even a job you are happy with--if you can get one. The ultimate goal is to have enough money you don't have to work.
Even better is you have enough money for NOT working and living the life of luxury.
I am not, of course, referring to those lucky ducks who are luxuriating in unemployment compensation or food stamps. I am referring to those lucky ducks who are luxuriating in capital gains and other non-earned income.
