Of course there is an ulterior motive to LAUSD's sup John Deasy in his completely uncalled-for reaction
to the molestation scandals at Miramonte Elementary School. He has found a way to get rid of expensive teachers he doesn't want. Expect more fraudulent "morals charges" to be put forward in order to get rid of innocent teachers and leapfrog over the union contract.
In Nevada, principals always had the escape clause of subverting teachers' due process rights in the part of NRS 391 which says teachers can be fired for "dishonesty." "Dishonesty" is whatever these assholes say it is, while these same assholes like I had for a principal commit perjury in administrative hearings. "Dishonesty" is not covered in the statutes' "three strikes rule" which supposedly gives teachers protections from wrongful dismissals. "Morals" violations are also listed in the statutes, but those have a little higher standard of proof than simply being called a "liar" or "dishonest."
