The Wonderful World of Public Education Administrators

It's all about the image with LAUSD sup John Deasy as he decided he was going to "replace" the entire staff at Miramonte Elementary School over alleged child molestation involving two teachers. This staff, who are totally innocent of any wrongdoing, get automatically labeled as child molesters because of this asshole superintendent. However, it is par for the course in American public education.

Naturally Deasy, like fellow Eli Broadie Dr. Heath Morrison of WCSD, believes in absolute transparency:

Parents packed the meeting Monday evening at a nearby high school. The district had closed the meeting to the media even though parents demanded that reporters and cameras be allowed in. The district refused.

It's probably more of an excuse to get rid of more senior, more "expensive" teachers and replacing them with cheap bimbos than for any concern whatsoever about the school and its students.

Speaking of LAUSD (and almost all other school districts in the country), it is not the best and the brightest who get appointed principal but those who are the least capable and most well-connected who get the six-figure jobs.
