Martin Bernard Springer, 49, was charged Tuesday with three counts of committing lewd acts. He was arrested Friday after two students at the school accused him of fondling them.
But the charges filed Tuesday only involve one girl. The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the case was ongoing, said one of two two alleged victims had changed her story in the last few days.
Springer has or had been at this school since 1986, just a few years short of his thirty years and full vesting in retirement (no Social Security, by the way, for California teachers).
Deasy couldn't care less about what the students or the parents want.
"They" don't call him "Sleazy Deasy" for nothing:
The university investigation stems from reports in Kentucky news media that Deasy was awarded a doctorate of philosophy even though he only completed nine credit hours in one semester at the school. According to the university's policies, there is no set number of credits that doctor of philosophy candidates are required to obtain, however, it has been "customary to consider the equivalent of three years of full-time graduate study as minimal."
He ended up resigning there and worked for the Gates duo.

A former principal to remember:
Instead, Chief Deputy District Attorney Erika Soublet read a victim's impact statement Angela Royal wrote after the incident. In it, she said Patrick Royal should receive the maximum penalty for the assault.
'If my daughter had not been home, I believe he would have killed me," Angela Royal wrote. 'He does not value my life at all."
At trial, the prosecution alleged Patrick Royal punched his wife in the face, hit her in the head with a blunt object and pushed her on the stairs when she tried to escape.
In addition to the nearly six-year prison sentence, Royal will be required to pay $9,000 in fees and fines.
It's safe to say he will never, ever work in education again.
An earlier report about the trial:
As a sheriff's deputy placed Royal in handcuffs after the trial, he turned to his wife, Angela Royal -- who was sitting in the courtroom gallery -- and said, 'You know I didn't do it, Angela. You know I didn't."_____
Royal maintained his innocence throughout the trial; he even took the stand and testified in his own defense. He said he didn't know what happened to his wife that morning. During the investigation, he told police he thought she may have fallen down the stairs.
But the prosecution's case -- which included testimony from Angela Royal, police officers who responded to the scene, doctors who examined her, and other investigators -- convinced the jury. Angela Royal had bruising to her left breast and the left side of her face, a tear in her gums and a six-inch gash in her forehead, caused when her husband grabbed her, punched her in the face, then hit her in the head with a blunt object, Chief Deputy District Attorney Erika Soublet said.
I just want to note that the idiot lawsuit where I was named was "terminated" on December 21, 2011. What happened is the document to completely dismiss the case was titled a stipulation for dismissal rather than an order to dismiss the case as was the document I had signed. Either the mother got a little bit of money or else she got nothing. The district decided to cover up the entire matter and the local media never reported it.

A judge ruled Rodney Alcala, the so-called "Dating Game Killer," can be extradited to New York to stand trial for slayings there in the 1970s.
Alcala's been sentenced to death (for the third time although the first two convictions were reversed on appeal) for five murders in southern California. He has been incarcerated since 1979 following his arrest for the slaying of 12-year-old Robin Samsoe.
Some background from 48 Hours and reported by the late Harold Dow:
