Dunking Duncan

Arne Duncan and his boss Obama go around trashing teachers and giving Gates/Broad/Walton and the rest of the vulture philanthropists whatever they want, yet Duncan now says he doesn't think newspapers have any business publishing teacher "ratings," which aren't accurate and are the result of bastardizing the intent of standardized test scores.

Of course it is an election year. If Obama gets re-elected, it will be the same old teacher-trashing shit of the past four years.

"Do you need to publish every single teacher's rating in the paper? I don't think you do," he said. "There's not much of an upside there, and there's a tremendous downside for teachers. We're at a time where morale is at a record low. ... We need to be sort of strengthening teachers, and elevating and supporting them."

And just WHO, praytell, has been tearing teachers down? Nobody with a straight face can blame the previous administration or even Congress for this.

Time to Dump Duncan.
