but it is refreshing to read that teachers and students have turned the tables on a vindictive, unfit principal.
Not that I think the principal will lose his job. It's virtually impossible to remove principals, let alone fire them. The most they get are slaps on the wrists like reassignments to a different schools or demotions.
Only if a third party raises a giant stink is anything done about it, as with that asshole I had at Sparks Middle. What burns me up is administrators KNEW this guy's history of unfit and unethical conduct before he was ever promoted to the position, but he was promoted anyway. He still wasn't fired like he should have been with his license revoked but allowed to have a job teaching students at WCSD.
When it comes to education, very rarely is justice done. In this case, the district is STILL defending the cretin.
The complaint is pretty damning against this principal and the district, if true. The purpose of the suit is to force the removal of the principal from this school, not money.
The suit mentions the Blase's book Breaking the Silence about principal abuse of teachers, which is standard operating procedure in school districts around the country.
Link to the complaint is here. The plaintiffs' website is here.
By the way, National Superintendent of the Year Heath Morrison is mentioned in this lawsuit as having been community superintendent for Montgomery County during part of this dictator's reign, but Morrison did absolutely nothing to remove him.
