The Boys Can't Help It

The reason women have to be kept down economically and socially is because men have these "urges," and they can't control them. It is up to women to dress modestly, to not go anywhere alone, to not act like men and participate in the labor force as equals, to not use birth control and act like whores. Women are "asking for it," i.e., being raped, because men can't control themselves. After all, Eve was responsible for "original sin," and it is up to women to be able to control men by allowing men to control them by restricting their movement. It's all a bunch of bullshit, of course, but that mentality underlies the right-wing thinking regarding women.

The problem with trying to force women back into the home is the cretins who have helped destroy the economy have ensured they cannot go back. Hell, little kids will be forced into the labor force if the neolibs and right-wingers have their way.
