Americans are now finding their "net worth" at the same level on average as they were twenty years ago. Of course their houses, if they "owned" them, were wildly inflated and "worth" perhaps three times what they were truly worth thanks to speculators polluting the housing market. Their 401(k) "investments" were proven to be equally worthless.
The neolibs no doubt welcome this trend in their movement to return the country to feudal times.
