He is currently employed by Clark County School District as a deputy superintendent of instruction or whatever it is despite being completely unqualified for THAT job and has never taught a day in his life. He came from Washoe County School District working as some kind of deputy superintendent there despite being incompetent and not being able to score enough federal money and therefore pushed out in lieu of being fired. Prior to that debacle, Pedro came from Chicago via Heath Morrison working for an incompetent CFO or whatever he was who wound up being the worst cabinet-level pick in the history of the United States.
Apparently the Philly board or whoever does the hiring wants an incompetent in the job in order to destroy public ed in the city. In that respect, Pedro Martinez is immensely qualified:
