It's that simple. Nevada, a red state when I moved there 28 years ago and trended blue when I moved from there two years ago, has picked the president in EVERY election since 1964.
Mitt is popular with Republicans down there. He won the caucus back in 2008 when the GOP race was more hotly contested than this past election year. One should not overlook the sizable Mormon vote in the state.
