when there is rampant speculation about whether somebody is or isn't wearing certain clothing as expected by their religious group.
I suspect the Mormon church doesn't reprimand anybody for not wearing "temple undergarments" outside of temple activities and I doubt even then:
Busybodies come in all kinds of political persuasions.
