It's a War on Democracy, Folks

At least one honest reporter is out there talking about what is REALLY at stake with the Chicago teachers' strike.

It may be the FIRST time the public has been made aware of this naked assault on this country and all of its institutions designed for the public good. It amounts to little more than treason. Treason for profit. The neoliberals have put on a tremendous con on the public with their shoving charter schools down the throats of the American people while at the same time buying both political parties. Destroy public schools and their neighborhoods while setting up private schools that steal money from the taxpayers. Let's face it: charter schools are NOT public schools. They are private schools that steal public money and are not held accountable for how that money is spent.

The ONLY way this "movement" really got a foothold was when this FRAUD of a Democrat, Barack Obama, was elected and inaugurated as president. He put an idiot in charge of the education department, somebody without ANY experience as a teacher but with the sole qualification of being Barry's basketball partner.
