would be the fact there would be FAR less competition for teaching jobs, and right now it is horrendous. It might mean those teachers who remain would be treated far better if they are not seen as a dime a dozen.
Of course the privatizers would push to have the requirements for credentialing lowered so that anybody off the street can "teach." They could simply be monitors for kids stuck in front of computers all day.
Frightening shit.
