so are the myths of Horatio Alger and related myths spreading around the political landscape once again, despite there being NO evidence any of those myths are true.
These rich people, projecting their own insecurities onto people "less successful" than they are, try to blame everybody else instead of admitting they have been gaming the political system for their benefit and at everyone else's expense. Nobody gives a shit how many mansions the Koch brothers have, but people do care about the undue influence those two have on the political process. Ditto Gates, ditto Peterson.
The only real "anti-government" argument that is valid is that our government, especially that in Washington, has been bought and sold to enrich the few, and these politicians have no desire to change the rules.
