More papers refuse to endorse anybody for president:
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel did not endorse this year.
The paper didn't back in 2000, either.
The previously quite Republican Oregonian (which did endorse Obama four years ago), refuses to back a candidate, either. This piece dates back to August, but the editors rightly pointed out that the candidates are actually running for "president of the swing states."
