with this so-called "great" charter school chain which explicitly denies poor children access to music and the arts.
Of course. Poor children don't need such frivolous subjects; they should be trained for the low-paid, low-skilled jobs of today and tomorrow.
Besides, these subjects can't be measured on a test anyway.
It's completely racist and classist, but I don't see any lawsuits being filed against these chains or to abolish charters altogether.
Poor kids deserve a poor education. That is the message here.
