And the Winner Is...
Five-year-old male Affenpinscher "Banana Joe" has won the 137th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. He was one of my favorite dogs going into the finals. He is from the Netherlands.
Affenpinchers are considered to be a rare dog breed. It is one of my favorite rare breeds, along with the Dandie Dinmont Terrier and the Lowchen.
For the first time Westminster has a reserve champion: 20-month-old Old English Sheepdog "Swagger" took that title.
