Privacy Laws Are the Reason

why Washoe County School District has and will remain mum over the recent decision to put a principal on administrative leave.

It is unclear to me whether this principal was put on leave while being investigated, or whether the leave is the punishment for this principal's violations, which yours truly believes stemmed from a lawsuit from a year-and-a-half ago by a longtime teacher this principal tried to railroad out of her career by making up allegations of testing irregularities.

There is a huge double standard of how various administrators are treated, and it largely depends on the tolerance of the superintendent to administrator misconduct.
