Ed "reform" is just one aspect of the neoliberal assault against ALL of our public institutions.

The public sector is "bad" simply because it is public. It is that simple.

One can hope this is the start of a long-term movement against low-wage employment.

However, this problem crosses over to most, if not all, industries and occupations.

The big trend is simply either to not hire at all or to hire part-time.
