These idiots don't realize that pensions are deferred compensation. They also don't realize that California state employees, like state employees in 14 states, do NOT pay into Social Security, and, if they ever worked in non-Social Security employment and/or are married to somebody who paid into it, they are screwed royally by WEP/GPO.
