The Reno Gazette-Journal got letters from all over the world about the scathing obituary of Marianne Theresa Johnson-Reddick by some of her children. A few are at the link.
Of course the comments following the paper's articles have been numerous and from all over, including a view from a daughter of the obituary writer who criticized her mother for having written it, as she believed the mother had no room to talk when it came to child abuse.
I'm sure we haven't heard the last of this story.
Another problem with obituaries is they are becoming increasingly divorced from editorial oversight thanks to paid obits.
