This good piece says it all. Until you have done a job, you really don't know what it entails. If you have done a particular job, you have more appreciation of what it is about.
However, everybody thinks they know all about what those "lazy" teachers because they went through school all of those years and know what the job is all about. But they don't, and they have absolutely no business complaining about teachers, let alone start dictating about what they can teach, how they are evaluated, how they are licensed, how they are trained and how public schools should be run.
Arne, are you listening? Of course now. He has an agenda based on his lack of knowledge about education and is willing to usurp the law in order to put through that agenda.
