Don't write about something if you don't know what in the hell you are writing about.
K-12 teachers do NOT have "tenure"--only the same due process and seniority rights as other public employees.

Resigning is just what "reformers" want with veteran teachers.
Hell, it saves money for them and for the districts.
By being wimpy, teachers guarantee their profession will be done away with.
