Whether as a result of a major restructuring, as the district claims, or whether he is being made a scapegoat from the fallout over the Larry Dailey mess or some other matter, Mike Mieras, WCSD police chief, got dumped Friday. It was a complete and total shock to him and everybody else.
I used to work with his wife years ago at Sparks Middle School. Nice person.
Too bad that happened.
