It might have been a case similar to what happened with dumped Moss principal Andrew Stansberry a couple of years ago, when he lied by omission by not informing the district he had been convicted of embezzling more than $27,000 from a administrator fund back in Michigan.
The Board of Trustees is justified here, and it gives them a legal "out" to save face over the Mieras deal and get rid of Martinez.
