A leukemia diagnosis is the reason WCSD trustee Dave Aiazzi is leaving by the end of next month.
Not good to go through this, and he is not old. It's best to step down before being forced out anyway.
If I were a betting person, I'd say Aiazzi was the biggest instigator of the attack on Superintendent Pedro Martinez. In the interview at the link, he bitches about the Nevada first lady and "the good old boys network" outside of the crooked "good old boys network" inside WCSD. He thinks they are at fault and not his and his co-conspirators' illegal actions.
It's a perfect case of projection.
