The Washoe County School District continues its neverending spin trying to cast blame on the mess they and their board created with Pedro Martinez by trying to claim it's his greed that's caused the trouble.
The board and district couldn't be more obvious or more corrupt. They will spend any amount of money, even millions of dollars, just to make Martinez go away and to continue going after less-known people for equally bogus reasons.
Martinez and his lawyer did NOT ask for a million dollars in the suits. Martinez asked for a minimum of 10k plus attorney fees.
The district, as is typical in these cases, hires outside counsel to drag the case out for years and years hoping to starve him into a settlement.
No matter what the district tries, it's still going to have egg on its face.
