This was something and looked like a blast out of the past:
Of course this was a minor track and not a major race, so Secretariat's 31-length record in the 1973 Belmont still remains the largest winning margin ever for a major stakes race. This race was also 2 1/4 miles, much longer than the Belmont.
Having said that, this win was still something. Racehorses don't typically win this way.
