Brittany Maynard's death was NOT "death with dignity." She got a doctor to be an accessory to murder.
Furthermore, she sounded more than a tad narcissistic advertising her plight.
Cancer is awful, and this poor woman never had a real chance at life, but it doesn't change the ethical and legal problems with this.
Especially now with the movement to limit health care access for the poor and increasingly the middle class.

The issue was judicial misconduct, not Polanski's crime. Once a decision has been rendered and the sentence carried out, a judge is NOT supposed to change his mind. People can argue whether the original sentence was too lenient, but that is water under the bridge.
Judicial misconduct has always been the issue in the Polanski case.
