The Board of Trustees finally approved the settlement agreement between the school district and former police chief Mike Mieras.

I knew he'd never get his job back. The groveling before the Board was unseemly. Furthermore, he already got a job working for Ranchharrah, so I have serious doubts his lifestyle would be much impacted, not with a big pension coming his way.
