Phyllis Schlafly, now 90 years old, needs to retire from public life.
She ALWAYS needed to retire, but she sounds even more a throwback now.
As an aside, one of the 300 or 400 books I got during the time I worked at the book exchange was a critical biography written about the anti-feminist some thirty years ago called The Sweetheart of the Silent Majority. What is funny is that it is autographed, not by the author but by Phyllis Schlafly. I will bet she got a big kick out of signing a book critical of her career and activism.
