Obituary: Joanne Carson, second wife of entertainer Johnny Carson, has died. She was 83.
She was married to Carson from the early 1960s to the early 1970s. A gracious woman, she had nothing but the highest regard for Carson's other wives.
She was also close friends with the late writer Truman Capote.
