As expected, Traci Davis was appointed "permanent" superintendent of the embattled Washoe County School District today.
However, the vote wasn't unanimous. The vote was 5-2. The two Board members voting against the appointment thought the process should be open to other applicants.
I do think, however, had the Board done that, Davis would have taken a powder, and I would not have blamed her. She was already treated like crap twice before by that Board.
