Reporter Shooting

Officials just reported that the former journalist who killed a reporter and a cameraman on live television early this morning has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound:

A Virginia official says the suspect in the fatal shooting of two TV station employees during a live broadcast has died.

Virginia Secretary of Public Safety Brian Moran says Vester Flanagan died at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday.

WDBJ7 reporter Alison Parker, 24, and photographer Adam Ward, 27, were covering a story at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta at 6:45 a.m. when the gunfire erupted. The station confirmed that both were shot and killed.

Horrific.

Of course some ghouls insist that the video of the murder--actually both of them including the shooter's own video--remain online.
