The big news, besides the Pope's U.S. visit, is House Speaker John Boehner, 65, announcing his plans to resign from Congress.
He has been under a lot of pressure from the weirdos of his own party and wanted to avoid shutting the government, but he also had a private audience with Pope Francis yesterday.
Perhaps he asked the Pope for guidance. I am not being facetious here.
