American Pharoah will be pointed to the Breeders' Cup Classic, which is what should have happened instead of him being pointed to the Travers first.
If the rumor is true he is going to Australia next July, that is after the U.S. breeding season for thoroughbred racehorses. A number of U.S. sires have done this, so the hope by some at Coolmore Stud could become reality.
He could have his work cut out for him at the October Classic with the likes of Honor Code and Beholder likely entries.
