Obituary: Gulch 32 (or 31 if you go by the calendar and not by the Jockey Club rules), winner of the 1988 Breeders' Cup sprint and champion sprinter that year, has been euthanized at Old Friends, the equine retirement center in Kentucky.
He was the oldest resident at the farm at the time of his death. He was quite popular there.
I saw the announcement of his death on the Old Friends Facebook page, so it is official.
