After years of delay, I finally bought a DSLR this past weekend. It is a Canon T5 Rebel kit. I paid around $500 for it, which includes the camera body, a bag, batteries, a charger, and two lenses. I am enjoying figuring out how to use it.
I still have my other Canon, but it has been nine years since I bought it. I felt with this year getting my first tax refund in five years, I would buy something I really enjoy.
I want to be able to get money together to buy a new bicycle, preferably a carbon fiber road bike and perhaps a hybrid bike as well.
It has been a real struggle these past eight years, and finally, as I near Social Security age, I am slowly getting back on my feet again.
