Why is it the GOP presidential ticket is in trouble?

I'd say the party has run out of ideas. The electorate is getting younger, and they are less likely to buy what the GOP is selling.

The WSWS is totally disgusted with the adulation over Antonin Scalia.

Funny how it is you are widely vilified when you are alive, but then, when you aren't around to be kicked around, everybody misses you.

Scalia was a rabid partisan wrapped up in the trappings of a learned justice. This was most obvious in the wretched Bush v. Gore decision, the worst decision by the USSC since Dred Scott. There was no excuse whatsoever for the high court to have gotten itself involved in the Florida dispute other than pure politics.

I know in my eyes the USSC was completely and totally tarnished by this decision. This court literally makes shit up.

The mess in Florida, engineered in part by Jeb Bush to help his brother "win" the White House, is reason enough Jeb Bush should never, ever be allowed anywhere near the Oval Office.
