Bill Paxton, the Emmy Award-nominated actor, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, of complications from surgery, according to multiple news sources. He was 61. A family spokesperson announced the death Sunday. No other details were provided, however. Paxton played an astronaut in "Apollo 13."_____
His other films include "Twister," "Aliens," "Predator 2," and "Titanic," in which he played a treasure hunter.
