Something is terribly screwed up when you have a country that pays for elective cosmetic surgery but not for dental care.
Dental insurance is a national scandal. I know I probably have tens of thousands of dollars worth of dental work that has to be done, including two broken teeth, one needing extraction and is one of my upper front teeth, but because I don't have any kind of money or insurance, I cannot do anything about it.
It sucks.
Meanwhile, if I proclaimed myself to be a "transman" tomorrow, I could get all kinds of help with my "transition."
