This past Saturday was the last day for tours of the historic Holly Theatre in Medford, Oregon, built in 1930 and closed for business in 1986, before the major interior restoration project which will take about a year. The goal after restoration will be to turn the 1003-seat theater into a major tour destination for major acts. This is especially important after the musical festivals like Britt are done for the summer.
The outside of the theater has been restored. The interior restoration will cost around 4 million, as I recall.
