This is a nice write-up of Tinner's Way, one of the last surviving offspring of Secretariat. Tinner died a few days ago at the age of 27.
As of this writing, seven of Secretariat's offspring are still alive. Many of his "children" lived to be quite old, which is interesting, considering Secretariat was only 19 when he died in 1989, and his sire Bold Ruler was only 17 at the time of his death in 1971.
