When you think about the ties of queer theory to the vile libertarianism or neoliberalism which has so polluted the American political landscape, it isn't about anybody's rights but is actually economic fascism, he may be right.
Think about this "transhuman" crapola and queer theory. If words have no meaning, then protected classes such as women, LGBs, racial minorities, and the disabled don't exist as material realities,and therefore there should not be any laws on the books protecting the civil rights of such minorities as they don't exist. Anybody can call himself or herself whatever he or she wants, and it obliterates the civil rights of others who had no choice into being born into protected classes. It fits right into libertarian bullshit. This is totally anti-American.
