Carrie DeKlyen's case was nothing to celebrate in terms of women's "selflessness." She could have opted for a clinical trial that could have extended her life another 15 years or even more, but she couldn't be pregnant. Hell, it is just better to die and leave all your kids without a mother.
After all, popping out babies is all a woman is good for.
