Breeders' Cup Results

Popular racehorse Gun Runner held off a late charge by Collected to win this year's Breeders' Cup Classic at Del Mar, California.

Collected came in second, West Coast third, and War Story fourth.

Arrogate broke poorly at the start, and he never could get a good hold on the track, as his jockey Mike Smith noted after the race. He came in fifth.

The time was 2:01.29.
